Our new import terminal at Sheerness, Kent is located on a deep water berth which enables vessels of up to 40,000 tonnes to dock. This ability to receive large vessels can significantly reduce our carbon footprint when compared to average sized vessels arriving in the UK delivering cementitious products.
Opened in 2024, our purpose-built terminal offers an assured and competitive new source of cementitious materials to the market.
The scale of our well-established joint venture partner, Medcem, with their state-of-the-art European factories together with their own dedicated ports, ensures efficient processing and distribution on larger vessels, which in turn ensures ongoing lower carbon footprints for the materials we distribute.
The new terminal at Sheerness has one of the largest storage capacities in the world. With over 80,000t of storage capacity and deep water berthing facilities, we are able to receive larger vessels from across the world to bring in cementitious materials. Our robust supply chain gives our customers confidence in our ability to meet supply demands. All products delivered from Invicta’s terminal meet the stringent UK standards for both product and concrete quality assurance requirements. All materials are produced in single production units ensuring consistent supply from the same source.
This investment in a new terminal and facilities will provide new, long term and consistent sources of cementitious materials from an experienced industry partner giving enhanced supply chain reliability.
